Daniel Roussea

Growing up surrounded by the rolling hills and open farmland of rural Ohio, Daniel spent most of his childhood outdoors. After relocating to the Pacific Northwest, he rediscovered his passion for long hours in nature through running — starting on roads before gradually migrating to trails and ultimately finding his calling in ultramarathons. Over the past decade, he has been deeply committed to training, learning, and traveling across the country to toe the line at some of the most prestigious ultra events around, with the 100 mile distance holding a special place in his heart.

Daniel is also a dedicated running coach with Golden Endurance, working alongside runners of all abilities and distances. He is passionate about being an active and contributing member of the trail running community in every way he can.
